Hello to everyone I met at the Volstead club last night it was fun right? Thanks to the folks I met the night before at the new cross inn who came out again the following night to see me. Support!

Full on week coming up: Grandad Masterson’s funeral over the next two days it will be a big deal. All the family will be out. I’ll get that old lump in my throat that I used to get as a kid… hope I don’t drink too much but I probably will.

The gig at the George has kept changing it’s date but it’s now fixed on Friday 31st August. The nights called ‘The Secret Trip’ and it’s up on the George tavern facebook page. I’ve been told my stagetime is 10pm but get down there at 9.30pm as nothing is ever certain.

Saturday I’m journeying up to the north west to a small town near preston for a house concert! I always love these, you never know what to expect. All the details are up on my myspace page.

Had a great night at the Camden Head last Tuesday July 7th.  Promoted by a group of folks called ‘Turning Worm’, I’d recommend the night to anyone out and about in Camden

Got chatting to Piers one of the founders, he said one my tunes reminded him of Jacque Brel,  never heard that before but nonetheless took it as a generous compliment.

After my set I hung out with my pals Byzantia and Mercedes, we watched the fantastic Marmaduke Dando and all liked.  His last number was quite something, he managed to mix Bo Diddley with Noel Coward in a style entirely of his own, this might not be to everyones tastes but I loved it!

All set for this week… 

Tomorrow I’m at Metropolis, the recording studio in Chiswick, I’m playing a short set in the studio bar at 8.30 and on Thursday I’m playing at Monkey Chews in Camden, a new club that near Primrose hill, the nearest tube is Chalk Farm and it’s at 2 Queens Crescent NW5 4EP.  I’m on at 10pm

This Saturday 18th I’m gonna check out the opening of the Mick Jones Rock’n'Roll Public Library Exhibition on Portobello Green.  Missed the previous exhibition at Chelsea Space so excited about this, according to Mick this collection has even more to display.

Last week I watched Vivienne Westwood on the Jonathan Ross show.  She went on to speak about climate change, deforestation and Global Warming.  However her most passionate and moving talk was about humanity, the love of it and the desire to maintain and save it, the imminent danger it’s facing, unless we act now

She said she went on the show to reach alot of people, well she reached me and tonight I signed up to the ‘Princes Rainforests Project’ at  www.rainforestsos.org   Have a look for yourself

Hey got a run of dates coming up in London for July and August, starting this Tuesday 7th July at the Camden Head, I’m playing the middle slot supporting Marmaduke dando, the Camden Head is at 100 Camden High Street NW10 LU

Metropolis is now confirmed for Tuesday July 14th, it’s an early event, I’ll be showcasing in the studio bar at 7.30pm the address is Metropolis, The Power house, 70 Chiswick High Road, London W4 1SY….. IMPORTANT: This is a guestlist only event so if you want to come please write me your full name here or on myspace, so I can make sure your names on the door…Thanks!

On Thursday 16th July I’m back in Camden, playing at Monkey Chews, heard great things about this place. I’m on at 9pm and it’s at 2 Queens Crescent, Camden, London NW5 4EP

‘The Cave of Wisdom’ have asked me back to play their night at the George on Saturday July 29th onstage 10pm, and I’m back there again on Saturday August 8th for their annual George Tavern festival.  This one is a daytime event and I’m going to be playing in the afternoon. Also been booked to play a ‘House Concert’ in north west England in a village near Preston, on Saturday August 1st, more details to follow… if any of you are in this part of the world and would like to come please let me know!
