ADAM Masterson

About

Adam Masterson is a musician from West London who writes songs because they have something to say. He doesn’t really know where the songs come from, and he doesn’t know what makes him write them – but to hear Metropolitan, Isolation or Bad Luck Baby will confirm that they should be written.

All this is endorsed by Adam coming firmly from a tradition that unites songwriters who have followed their muse regardless of fashion or fad, or the demand for hit singles – which engenders a situation where classics are simply more likely to occur.

In his short career so far he has supported Tori Amos and Patti Smith (separately!) in London, and more recently became an honourable West London Luminary by playing no less than four of the seven legendary Carbon Casinos under The Westway in 2008.

2009 has already seen him play alongside Mick Jones and Orlando Bloom – and the reward of Kate Moss singing along to his rendition of Waterloo Sunset.

He also blogs…
